Our antique elm sideboard Casterton is a truly beautiful piece. An original antique, that has been adapted from a large antique grain chest with newly made drawers and shelves, it is crafted from solid elm timbers and has a fabulous weather worn patina. This cupboard is a fabulous size with bags of storage, with useful drawers and internal shelves. A perfect solution for storing many items within the home.
Each of our antique cabinets and sideboards has a rustic finish but also clean lines and the modern rustic feel that we love at Home Barn.
Ā Please do not expect this piece to be perfect, as with any antique there are signs of its historical use. This sideboard is fully restored but with a clear focus on retaining the original aesthetic. We feel the rustic wood finish adds to its character. Minor variations and imperfections are therefore to be expected and embraced.
